About Palak
My name is Palak Gupta. I am from Lucknow. After completing my school in Lucknow, I joined IHM Mumbai to get my hotel management degree. After that I joined IHM Lucknow for my masters degree in hotel management. I always wanted to be a teacher and I come from a family that has a business of hotels. So I combined the two and gained professional knowledge in this industry. Teaching is my passion and being among students keeps me motivated. I am truly passionate about the hospitality industry and I have had some great mentors during my college and training who taught me a lot. I wish to share that knowledge and experience with my students and make them better hospitality professionals for the future.

Hospitality is a very wide industry and is extremely volatile. It is necessary to keep up with the changing trends. Coming from a family that has a business of hotels, I have observed this industry very closely and have acquired technical knowledge in the same. Also, I am a very approachable person and I always wanted to be a teacher and what better than to teach something I’ve known all my life. I had the opportunity to go to one of the best hotel management colleges of India, IHM Mumbai and I trained at Taj SantaCruz Mumbai. Both these places gave me some amazing mentors from whom I’ve learnt a lot and I decided I want to share my knowledge and experiences.
