About Parisa
I am a passionate and experienced creative with a strong background in fashion and textile design. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the power of visual expression and the importance of nurturing creativity in others. I’m motivated by the opportunity to help learners grow in confidence, develop their unique artistic voice and build meaningful portfolios that reflect their skills and vision. I lead GCSE and A-Level students with their portfolios through workshops. Keen to assist young people and adults who are looking to improve their sewing machine skills.

My approach to tutoring art, fashion and textiles is centred on encouraging individual expression, creative confidence and a strong understanding of fundamental techniques. I believe that every student has a unique artistic voice, and my role is to help them discover and refine it. I provide a supportive and open environment where students feel safe to take creative risks and explore different mediums, styles, and concepts. Alongside practical skill development, I place importance on critical thinking, contextual research and reflective practice, helping students build a strong portfolio and a deeper appreciation of art and design from the AQA exam specification.
