About Adriana
Hello, my name is Adriana! I am twenty years old. I am an honours English major in my second year of university at McMaster. I chose English because I am passionate about the subject, and I am currently working towards becoming a professor so I can share my passion with hundreds of others. English can seem boring and tedious at times, which is why I love tutoring as I hope to deconstruct that idea with my students. I hope to encourage others to enjoy reading and practice critical thinking skills that can help them excel in all subject areas—not just English.
Thank you for taking time to read my profile, have a nice day!

- Calling all students studying at an elementary or secondary level! (grades 1-12)
- My lessons will be structured according to the curriculum; focusing on the individual’s “problem” areas.
- I am friendly, patient, and have helped friends and family members improve their English grades throughout my years as a student.
- I aim to restructure my students’ relationships with English by creating an environment that breaks down large projects into smaller, digestible segments.
- I will help students improve their academic reading and writing skills, so essays, story writing, and papers become less daunting and time consuming.
