About Sofia
I am a kind and patient person, simultaneously encouraging learners to be gentle with themselves while pushing themselves to actualize their potential. It is my belief that learners should have a balance between rest and productivity, ensuring learners maximize their potential by working hard, but not at the expense of burning out. I value discipline and routine, but I am also accepting of different learning styles and understand that each learner has a unique approach to learning and studying that is most beneficial to them.

I am a patient and supportive person, imbuing these traits in my tutoring approach. Having had experience working with learning disabilities as well as university students, I have a wide-ranging tutoring style for all age groups. Every person has unique capabilities and skill sets which allows me to focus on uplifting each student by highlighting their best traits, empowering them to overcome educational challenges and most importantly: helping them build confidence in their educational abilities. My lessons focus on guiding a pupil through their setworks or assessments, helping them develop planning and studying skills, and empowering them to carry out these skills throughout their educational journey. Having two degrees in psychology gives me a unique tutoring perspective as I value a learner's confidence and ability to manage stress while encouraging them to set realistic goals for themselves and feel motivated towards achievement
