About Xingli
I have an honours bachelor's degree in cell and system biology from the University of Toronto. I spent most of my life in China and I am well versed in Chinese literature. I received all of my education in china until high school. I am studied in chinese history a lot. I hope my knowledge to infuse my knowledge in history, arts, and culture of china into the class so people learn more than just the Chinese language.

My teaching style are relaxed and interactive. I base my teaching on the integrated Chinese: simplified textbook series and Chinese textbook used in china's basic education system (elementary school to high school) for those who want a more in-depth understanding. Rather than lecturing, I think it is more beneficial to give an overview of the topic first, listen and help the learner approach the subject in their own way.
