About Jason
Hi I'm Jason! I am an Honors Biology graduate from UBC, and I have tutored for a bit over 8 years now. I have tutored students of all ages, from grades K-12 as well as undergraduates. I have worked with students with learning disabilities, ADHD, and autism, and have learned to perfect personalized teaching. I have consistently been able to deliver results, and most of the time develop a passion for the subject as well!

I specialize in tutoring math and other sciences for grade school students, as well as 1st year calculus and any biology course for undergraduate students. I like to spend time figuring out each student's path to solving a problem before going into learning any concepts. My lesson plans are always tailored to the specific needs and learning styles of each person, to make sure they not only succeed in their current coursework, but learn valuable tools to succeed in the future as well. Throughout this, you can expect handcrafted lesson plans, practice problems, tests, and visual aids to become comfortable with course material. I put a large emphasis on real-life application of each concept, as I find it works best to truly grasp new material.
