Back when I met Dija, she was a senior who would tutor kids that couldn't speak English. My two daughters, Elise and Anisa, were actually among her first clients. They were struggling with Geometry and Algebra 1 at the time. My plan was to only enroll Elise, but when she told me she could handle Anisa, who is dyslexic and has struggled with math her whole life, I enrolled both. And it was the best choice! They both went from barely passing to an A in the second semester! One is now in med school, and the other is studying to become an ultrasound tech! I am so proud of my girls, and it might be dramatic to say, but it's really not because those lessons with Dija are what really improved their confidence in math, especially Anisa. I saw the change in her perspective after she got that A. I mean, really. I still recommend Dija to any kids struggling with math anytime I can because she really is that great. You will not regret a minute spent learning with her!

Dija is an amazing tutor I seriously couldn't recommend her more! She tutored me in middle school when I was struggling with pre-algebra, and she helped me go from barely understanding the concepts to acing my tests. Then in high school, I went back to her for help with my TSI exam for dual credit, and she helped me pass that too, mind you I failed once before. She will teach you the way these tests work so if you have test taking anxiety or just struggle with format like me DO NOT WORRY! You will choose best of both worlds with her!

She has a way of explaining things until they finally click, and she's so patient and encouraging. If you're looking for a tutor who actually makes you understand the material instead of just memorizing it, she's the one!
