About Mohammed
My name is Mohammed, and my approach to tutoring is built on a foundation of recent success. After finishing the Algebra 1 Regents with a 91%, I am currently challenging myself in AP Precalculus, which helps me stay deeply familiar with the modern curriculum. My name is Mohammed, and as a high school honors student, I give a peer-to-peer mentorship approach that transforms intimidating math concepts into easier "student steps." My teaching method focuses on breaking down hard logic into faster and efficient shortcuts ensuring middle school and freshman students build genuine confidence instead of just memorizing formulas. A regular lesson begins with a quick-win warm-up to build confidence followed by going into new material using good and valuable examples and ends with supervised independent practice to ensure mastery. What sets me apart is that I am currently going through the same school system as my students, giving me a good and fresh understanding of the curriculum and testing tricks that older tutors might overlook. These lessons are specifically designed for Middle School (Grades 6-8) or High School Freshmen tackling Algebra 1 or Geometry who want to improve their grades in a relaxed, high-energy environment.
