About Jean
My name is Jean and my goal is to be a lifelong educator. I recently graduated from university with a double major in History and International Affairs, and I am taking a year or so off before attending graduate school. Although I want to become a Professor, I was not always motivated by education. In high school, I struggled a lot with several subjects and never sought out help, which I now regret. It is my goal to help students get inspired by education, and dispel the belief that education must only be attained for one terminal goal.
I have years of experience in tutoring and teaching students at the high school and college level. This experience has not only furthered my love for education and interaction with students, but has taught me how to be a more approachable and understanding tutor.

My lessons are for middle school, high school, and college students. As a future professor, I am always eager to learn about any student's specific needs and struggles. I have years of experience in teaching and tutoring at the high school and college levels. My goal in tutoring is not to simply help the student to memorize and regurgitate information, but to encourage them to interact with the content on a more meaningful level. I would also love to assist in college applications and provide academic advising.
