About Sigcobe
I am a Postgraduate student, registered for Bachelor of Commerce Honors(Economics). I hold a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, Economics and Management being my majors. I have 3 years experience in Mentoring. In the first year I was working first-year university students registered for a Bcom(Accounting) degree. The other two years working Grade12 learners. I also have 2 years experience of being an Academic Representative where I hold the duty of ensuring that all students get all the necessary help they need with regards to their academics. Also direct them to the relevant person who has higher authority to assist them with issues such as struggling with the course work or career related issues.

I give my lessons to Grade12s and university students. My technique is the ability to effectively reflect on the work that has already been completed. Reflecting on previous work is vital in the sense that it gives one the opportunity to know which sections need more attention. This then interlinks with studying effectively (as another technique of teaching). When one has reflected and realized which sections or topics need more attention, then he or she will have better time management at the end of the day. I carry with me the characteristics of an open-minded individual, that works as an agent of change. In the sense of understanding that all students have different needs. Promoting excellence is another characteristic I carry with me. This refers to giving adequate support to the students in order for them to achieve their goals.
