About Holly
I earned my BA - summa cum laude - at UC Riverside, then spent a year studying statistics in education at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. Recently, I achieved a perfect score on the Praxis math exam. My greatest strengths are in STEM and test prep, but whatever you bring me - you need me to help you plan and edit an essay or break down a big project to make it manageable - I’ve got you!

I have eleven years and over ten thousand hours of tutoring experience. In that time, I have worked with learners at all ages - from elementary through grad school - and I am adept at adjusting my teaching style to suit each student. I look at each student holistically, working not only on subject matter but also on test taking strategies and mindset to optimize performance. I am experienced with working with students with learning challenges such as ADD, ADHD, anxiety, and those on the autism spectrum across, and have facilitated a sense of pride and accomplishment for students across all levels of achievement and dedication to the process.
The methods I have developed over the past decade have allowed me to guide multitudes of students to achieve their goals on private school entrance exams, standardized tests, and academic coursework. I have had numerous students attain perfect scores on the SAT, ACT, and various AP exams. I consistently raise student scores and improve academic performance substantially over the course of a semester when development plans are followed.
