About Kangan
I have been physically active since I was 4 years old. Coming from India I have been practicing meditation and yoga since my childhood. I am also a trained Indian classical dancer and in Kalaripayattu (Indian Martial arts) for more than 20 years now. I also performed as an Indian contemporary dancer for few years. I am currently training in the western contemporary dance from a London based studio.
I have been teaching people in a personal capacity for many years now alongside my career in the IT industry and public sector. I have recently started to pursue meditation and teaching yoga in a professional capacity. I have been formally trained in Ashtanga from Mysore, India and Yin Yoga from Bangalore, India

Meditation classes are open explorations of our body and mind with no emphasis on technique. These classes will be on their own. But we can always combine meditation along with the yoga practice as well.
Ashtanga and Yin yoga: The classes are structured based on the students level and to be challenged at the same time. Beginner classes are held separately to establish a good foundation.
I also bring the quality of movement and strength given my extensive training in dance and martial arts.

- Catalina has very good body awareness and flexibility already so great potential for yoga. As a young mother yoga will benefit her greatly. Her daughter is very talented being only 3 years old. She has a nice voice which when coupled with her instructions are effective for the flow of the whole practice.
