About Chanté
Hello! I am a Canadian living in Cardiff. I've previously taught piano lessons and trumpet lessons at a beginner level. I haven't taught any French, but I have had the opportunity to shadow other French teachers and have learned from them. I completed my music degree in Canada in trumpet studies, with a focus in music education. I would like to eventually become a high school music teacher! Before university, I completed up to my grade 8 RCM and up to RCM Advanced Rudiments before I started to focus on my trumpet studies.

My teaching method is a student based approach. I make sure that they learn the fundamentals, but also incorporate what interests the students have. If school work is brought to me, then I would help the student understand whatever the concept is that they are working on in that class.
