About Ananya
I am a Biotechnology and Genetics graduate who views teaching as a meaningful responsibility rather than just a part-time role. With a strong academic foundation, research exposure, and recognition for communication and subject excellence during my college years, I bring clarity, depth, and sincerity into every class I conduct. I am highly organized, punctual, and intentional about lesson planning, ensuring that each session has clear goals, structured explanations, and measurable outcomes.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and Genetics from Bangalore University and teach biology to primary and middle school students up to Grade 8. My teaching approach focuses on making biology immersive rather than theoretical. I use real-time examples, relatable stories, short concept-based videos, and visual learning tools to help students imagine how biology functions in the real world. With hands-on laboratory experience in biotechnology and genetics, I bridge textbook theory and practical understanding. I also incorporate unique memorisation techniques such as mnemonics (e.g., creative acronyms for taxonomy), visual memory mapping for processes like digestion or photosynthesis, storytelling chains for biological cycles, and active recall quizzes to strengthen retention.
A typical class begins with a concept warm-up, followed by interactive explanation, visual reinforcement, practice questions, and quick recap drills. As a good communicator, biotechnology entrepreneurship competition winner, quiz achiever, review article writer, and research project contributor, I bring strong subject clarity and presentation skills. Though a fresher, I offer high energy, updated knowledge, and a non-traditional yet structured learning environment. Being Gen Z allows me to connect naturally with students, understand their mindset, and mentor them holistically—helping them overcome mental blocks, build confidence, improve scores, and develop long-term curiosity and academic resilience.
