About Anabel
I am Anabel Gutierrez, I am a native Spanish speaker. I currently hold an associate's degree and have taken advanced Spanish classes. I am also studying to become a nurse. I love to sing, I am very laid back, I love Dutch Bros. I am younger but I think younger tutors can also be structured and make the lesson way more fun! I am excited to get to know each and every student I work with and watch them learn a language I hold near and dear to my heart, seeing as though it is my first language. I plan to show that Spanish can be fun but also very rewarding in the setting of the world. Spanish is a language many people gravitate towards and it can connect non-Spanish speakers with native speakers and different cultures.

- My teaching method will be very direct. If we need to work on writing, pronunciation, reading in Spanish or any other subject we will work on that until the student shows mastery.
- I will start off by getting to know the student and how they prefer to learn. We will then get into the subject and work on the placements they are struggling with.
- What sets me apart from another Spanish tutor, is I am also knowledgeable in culture. So while the student is learning Spanish they can also learn Mexican culture that has to do with the Spanish language. As well as native Spanish practice.
- I would like to tailor these lessons to high school students or beginner level first year college students.
