About Mia
I have ADHD, which means I bring curiosity, energy, and a sense of humour into every lesson — but more importantly, it's taught me that everyone learns differently. There's no single "right" way to absorb a language, and part of my job is finding the way that works for you.
I'll always believe in your potential, even on the days you don't. Whether you're stuck on grammar, frustrated with pronunciation, or losing motivation, I'll meet you where you are and adapt the lesson to keep you moving forward.
My approach is dynamic, encouraging, and judgement-free. I'll celebrate your progress, challenge you when you're ready, and make sure learning Spanish feels like something you look forward to — not another item on your to-do list.

My Approach to Teaching
I tailor every lesson to the student, because no two learners have the same goals. Whether you're a child taking your first steps in Spanish, an adult preparing for a job interview, or a professional needing business-level fluency, I'll design a plan that works for you.
Who I teach
From kids to adults, beginner to advanced. I cover everyday conversation, grammar, reading, business Spanish, financial vocabulary (maths of finance), interview preparation, and exam support.
My methodology
Lessons are dynamic, practical, and built around real-life use — so what you learn today, you can use tomorrow. I focus on conversation, grammar foundations, reading comprehension, and cultural context, blending structured learning with relaxed, confidence-building practice.
How it works

We meet for 1-hour lessons, twice a week, with light homework between sessions to reinforce progress.
My experience
I've been teaching Spanish to international learners since the age of 21, combining a native speaker's ear with the discipline of a UK-educated postgraduate. My background in Finance and FinTech means I can also support students aiming for business, banking, or technical Spanish.
