Julie is such an amazing teacher and tutor. I have learned more Spanish from her in a short few months than I have in a year with other tutors. She is extremely patient and really has a passion for teaching and helping you grow and learn. She makes sure to understand your goals and helps you achieve those goals. She speaks several languages so she understands how different people learn using different methods and she caters her lessons to the student. Professor Julie is exceptional and kind in a way that makes you want to keep communicating and learning from her. She has undoubtedly the skill required to convey information. We worked together to improve my language in terms of grammar and speaking.
In addition, she has a fun and inspiring teaching style. She helped me understand some things that are difficult for non-native speakers in a way that is easy to understand, especially regarding idioms and metaphors. She also invented a fun teaching method, which is reading together. We read literary and political articles and poetry together, and sometimes I discuss with her about some of the books that I read. She also helped me with my ambitious little project of writing some poetry and gave me a lot of good advice that I still remember and appreciate very much.
