About Marysia
With my master's in Biology, I've always had a passion for the sciences and maths.
I became a teaching assistant after my children left primary school, and fell in love with it. Since then, I've qualified as a higher-level teaching assistant and have been responsible for teaching one-to-one, small groups and full classes on a regular basis.
I know what is expected from children at each year during key-stage 2, and will support them towards a stronger grasp and understanding of maths.
I'm calm, patient, encouraging and committed to seeing your child succeed. I'll work in partnership with you as a parent to ensure the sessions are purposeful and effective. Plus, you'll receive regular updates on the progress of your child.
Lessons can be in English, Polish or French.

With 20yrs experience working with key-stage 2 children, I'm well versed in supporting children with Maths on an individual basis, or in small groups.
I offer a dedicated, personalised approach that means your child reaches their goals.
After a small assessment to understand their level, I'll tailor classes for your child and week on week you'll see improvements.
I typically recommend 45min sessions, at least once a week.
HLTA-qualified: KS2 1-to-1 & small groups, online or in person. DBS-checked & safeguarding trained.
