About Alex
I have three years teaching experience, including two and a half years university-level Politics teaching. I have an MA with Distinction in Political Economy from King's College London, and a 1st Class BA in Politics from the University of Warwick.
My degrees and teaching involved a lot of cross-over with other social sciences, so, in addition to Government and Politics, I would be able to teach Sociology, History, Economics, Civics and Philosophy up to and including A-Level.
My previous students at my university job rated me 4.4/5 on the popular American review site 'Rate My Professors'.
My teaching style is all about student engagement. I try to make students interested in the topic by relating the material to their non-academic interests, and using a lot of humour, including funny YouTube videos. I am also very passionate about the social sciences, and this helps to make my students enthusiastic.

I am a professional teacher, with three years experience. For most of that time, I've been teaching Politics in a university. I have an MA and a BA in Politics, from King's College London and Warwick respectively. I am also knowledgeable about Sociology, Economics, Civics and Philosophy.
My teaching style is highly participatory. I like to create student interest in the subject by using humour, YouTube videos and references to the students' other interests.
