About Nathan
I achieved A* at GCSE History and currently am predicted A/A* for A-Level. I have been offered places to study History at several universities for 2021, hoping to go to Durham University to specialise in the Weimar/Nazi Germany, the English Reformation and the development on the Western World throughout the Middle Ages.

My teaching methodology will follow a checklist guide for structuring essays responses using applicable knowledge and judgment formation. Special attention will be paid towards the formation of a coherent, well-balanced argument in the introduction, throughout the main essay paragraphs and especially the conclusion.
As students will be taught key knowledge on a topic by topic basis, the ability to plan and write a response to an any essay question will become second nature no matter the scope of the subject. It is therefore important that several practice essays will be written using a coherent format.
The study of sources and interpretations will also be a large focus for any student, with the aim of acquiring the skills to apply their ability of drawing conclusions and judgements from extracts and evaluating the factual information, tone and provenance in relation with their own knowledge.
