My teaching methodology is based on who am teaching. Obviously am also a sociologist and I have the ability to interpret people by mere looking. Therefore, I start teaching with the intention of first capturing the mind of the students; maybe can be comic while do so.
I start by explaining in detail what the topic is all about, and run an executive summary of it. This in effect is to make sure my students understand in detail what the topic is all about before giving them notes or materials as related to the course. I also give study questions so as to broaden the understanding of the students.
