About Ashleigh
I am a History graduate with a certificate in Autism Awareness. I also have a diploma in child behaviour and extensive voluntary experience in schools as a teaching assistant. I feel that I can offer a unique helping hand when it comes to helping children and young adults with Asperger's Syndrome, as I too was diagnosed as a young adult.

I base any learning activity completely around the child. It is so important for children on the spectrum to not only learn at their own pace but also feel comfortable in the way that they are learning. I think that fully understanding the parents' concerns and listening to what the child's needs are, are two of the most important ways I can assist in helping them reach their full potential. I do not view autism as a disability, just an ability to view the world differently. My tutoring is not limited to academia, it can also stretch to coping on stressful situations and help for the parents in how to manage various situations.
