About Ruairí
I am a history graduate with a passion for history, its utilities and the role it plays in not only understanding our past but also how it shapes our present and future.
I have endeavoured to keep history as a core component of my professional life since graduating - I currently work at the National Library of Ireland.
I would love to tutor because it was one thing I came away from doing previously with a great deal of pleasure. I took great joy from teaching and helping my students enjoy and understand their lessons further.

I believe every individual is different and therefore requires different methods of teaching, catered for each person. I endeavour to be flexible and open minded in my methods and aim to utilise a wide array of techniques - breaking away from the wrote memorisation pushed in schools.
I have two degrees in history at university level and during that time I tutored first year university students aged 17-20. My lessons will be aimed at this demographic, leaving cert level and early university level.
