About Yasemine
I recently graduated from the University of Southampton with a History Degree. I am currently training to be an online English teacher and gain my Tesol certificate. I speak, read and write Spanish fluently and I am currently solo learning French and Italian. In my previous tutoring experience, I have provided one-on-one tutoring lessons for students aged 10-17 (GCSE/ A-levels). I would love to work more with A-level students as it is still relatively fresh for me and feel I have a lot of useful tactics I can pass on to other struggling A-level students.

Depends on the subject. With History, I find that debates and having conversations on the subject help improve memory retention. Presentations are a plus as it encourages the student to do the historical research. With languages I try to encourage conversational lessons, bringing in movies and books to help improve vocabulary. nonetheless, each student has their own way of learning and with the first few sessions I like to get to know how the student works best and from there I am able to plan and prepare lessons that are suitable and effective.
