About Cameron
I am a friendly, encouraging, and passionate person who greatly believes in the importance of humanities subjects. I place much importance on allowing the student's individualism shine through in the work they produce.
In my spare time I enjoy music, playing both the oboe and piano. I also love to cook and enjoy running.

I am able to pass on many tips and tricks to students sitting their GCSE's and A Levels.
Having studied History at both GCSE and A Level too, I am able to adapt my lessons according to the level my students are working towards. I am particularly keen on working on exam technique and essay style which can often be the difference between a pass and achieving the higher grades. I aim to teach my students the art of writing concisely, persuasively, and in a detailed way, whilst maintaining their own individual writing style.
I can teach and explain historical content too:
Areas of expertise include: 20th Century European History, the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, the Korean and Vietnam War, the Cold War
British History: 1380 - 1700, 1900 - present with a particular interest in race and class
A typical length of a lesson is 40 minutes long and I will use exercises and verbal discussion to encourage my students to consider different ways of writing or thinking about their topic. My lessons are appropriate for anyone sitting their GCSE's, and A Levels. Additionally I am able to give personal statement writing advice.
