About Jeevti
Music has been at the heart of my life since I began training in Hindustani classical singing at the age of 11. Over ten years of dedicated study, formal examinations with distinctions, and performing at least once a month have shaped me into both a committed artist and a passionate teacher.
I believe the joy of music is something everyone deserves to experience, and sharing that with students — of all ages and backgrounds — is something I find genuinely fulfilling. I bring the same dedication to my teaching as I do to my own practice, and I am committed to making every student feel supported, encouraged, and inspired from the very first lesson.

I offer one-to-one Hindustani classical singing lessons for complete beginners of all ages, from young children to adults. Whether you have always wanted to explore Indian classical music or are simply looking to develop your voice, my lessons are designed to be welcoming, structured, and enjoyable from the very first session.
Each lesson lasts one hour and combines a structured foundation with flexibility around your personal goals. We begin with the essentials — breath control, voice culture, and the sargam (the Indian solfa system of musical notes) — before gradually introducing ragas, rhythm patterns, and expressive vocal techniques. As you progress, lessons are shaped around what you want to achieve, whether that is singing devotional music, understanding classical theory, or simply developing confidence in your voice.
I have been training in Hindustani classical singing since the age of 11 and have achieved multiple distinctions in formal examinations. This means I bring both deep technical knowledge and genuine passion to every lesson.
These lessons are for complete beginners of any age. No prior musical experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to learn. I travel to you across North and Central London, so you can learn in the comfort of your own home.
