About Annesa
I did a 3-year Biochemistry course in the UK at the University of Birmingham. I am Secretary of the Malaysian Society of my uni, which involves writing minutes during each meeting and keeping the relevant documents in tact for the Society. I have written many essays and dissertations throughout my years of learning and have helped others as well.

Objective: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to speak, understand, and write English at a level similar to that of a GCSE student.
Materials Needed:
-Computer or tablet with a reliable internet connection
-Online learning platform, such as Zoom or Google Meet
Lesson Outline:
Introduction and warm-up (10 minutes): Begin the lesson with a simple warm-up activity to get the students comfortable and focused. For example, we could play a game that involves the students using basic English phrases.
Vocabulary teaching (15-20 minutes): Introduce new vocabulary words related to a specific topic, such as animals, food, or clothing. Use digital flashcards or pictures to aid in teaching and have students repeat the words after you. Then, practice the vocabulary with various activities such as matching the word with the picture, completing fill-in-the-blank sentences, or playing a vocabulary game using online tools like Kahoot or Quizlet.
Listening activity (10-15 minutes): Play an audio recording of a simple story or dialogue, and have the students listen and answer comprehension questions using an online quiz or interactive quiz builder.
Speaking practice (15-20 minutes): Have the students practice speaking by asking and answering questions related to the vocabulary and topic from earlier in the lesson. Encourage the students to use complete sentences and correct grammar.
Writing activity (15-20 minutes): Give the students a writing prompt related to the topic, such as "Write about your favorite animal and why you like it." Provide them with a digital worksheet with a fill-in-the-blank outline to guide their writing, and have them practice writing complete sentences using proper grammar.
Grammar instruction (10-15 minutes): Teach a specific grammar rule related to the topic, such as simple present tense or prepositions. Use examples and exercises to practice the grammar rule with the students using online resources like digital worksheets, interactive activities, or videos.
Review and wrap-up (5-10 minutes): Review the key vocabulary words and grammar rules from the lesson, and ask the students to summarize what they learned using online polling tools like Google Forms.
