For the past 3 some years, I have deeply invested my time into American Sign Language (ASL), building a strong linguistic foundation and understanding of not only the language but the culture that resides with it as well.
Because I am close to my own learning process, I know exactly what it is like to start from scratch. I use that firsthand experience to create an authentic, welcoming, and highly patient environment where beginners can build their skills and confidence without judgment.
I specialize in teaching absolute beginners and early-stage learners of all ages. I completely customize my lessons to match your learning style - whether you want to learn the writing (GLOSS), typical signing, culture, art (De'VIA), or simply how interactions occur. Obsessed with the French culture and very advanced with the knowledge of the French and ASL languages! Currently a HS Junior, and with over 5 years of Jr. High and High School French classes under his belt, he has already been accepted into the Advanced Course for his senior year in French. After his first two years of taking French, ASL was introduced to him and he has also taken off with this language! He is also holding a GPA of 4.0 over the past 5 years in both French and ASL. I would highly recommend him as a tutor for anyone who wants to begin to learn the language or for students in junior high who begin the French language as a class.
