About Heather
I have a PhD in biology with a focus in evolution and ecology. My doctoral research focused on understanding fish behavior. My field research was conducted in the Caribbean (Trinidad). After I completed my PhD, I moved to the Pacific Northwest where I used genetic tools to better understand salmon behavior. I love teaching and mentoring students.
