About Julian
I am a dedicated saxophone tutor with over 8 years of experience teaching college students. My teaching approach focuses on clarity, encouragement, and steady progress. I believe students learn best when lessons are structured but enjoyable.
I train students in tone quality, breath control, finger movement, rhythm accuracy, and performance skills. Creative practice such as improvisation helps students develop confidence and individuality. Real-life music examples keep lessons practical and interesting.

My Saxophone teaching methodology is designed to help students grow with confidence and discipline. I focus on building a strong foundation through breathing exercises, tone development, embouchure control, finger coordination, articulation, and rhythm practice.
Creativity is encouraged by allowing students to explore musical ideas and practise improvisation. I act as a mentor by guiding students patiently and helping them overcome challenges.
Critical thinking is developed by teaching students to listen carefully and understand their playing. Accountability is maintained through structured practice plans, regular reviews, and progress tracking.
Along with Saxophone lessons, I also teach Music Theory, Sight Reading, Rhythm Practice, and Ear Development.
