About Olivia
I graduated within the top rung of students in my year from Queen's University Belfast in July 2017 with a Bachelors degree in French and Spanish. I completed work experience in Ballyholme Primary School as a classroom assistant and also spent a year working as an English language assistant in Seville, Spain. This year greatly developed my skills as I was responsible for not only a wide range of bilingual classes, but also for private tutoring lessons. I also spent a summer as an au pair in France where I privately taught English to 3 young French children every day. This has given me extensive experience in teaching students aged between 11 and 18, creating lesson plans and adapting to each pupil's unique learning style. Most importantly, I have a great passion for language learning and love being able to share my skills with younger learners!

My teaching method is informal and relaxed to put the pupil at ease. It will be a safe learning environment with a mixture of written worksheets, games and creative activities to make language learning fun. I give lessons to GCSE and A level students, tailoring each class to the pupil's needs. This can involve learning vocabulary, grammar, preparing for oral exams, written and oral comprehension or going through French / Spanish literature. Tutoring will initially involve a brief telephone / face-to-face consultation to run through what you would like to cover in lessons and to make sure we are a good match.
