About Adam
I've taught languages to all age groups and all sorts of people, in the UK, Spain, India and France. A passionate language learner, speaking French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, and currently teaching myself Ukrainian, I constantly experiment with different ways of engaging myself and others in language learning. I understand that there are many different reasons why people are motivated to learn a language, and that everyone has different goals and priorities in their language learning, so learning about my students is extremely important to me.

Every student has different needs, whether they want to get a good IELTS score and go to university or practise their English before their holiday. In my ten years of teaching, I have worked with hundreds of people to help them to achieve their goals in English. We will tailor our learning to the individual's needs. I have students who want to do nothing but practise speaking, who want to read novels or watch TV shows together, and who want to learn with a more traditional grammar-based approach. I'm happy to follow your lead or to suggest schemes of work - as long as our lessons are helping you to achieve your goals with the English language! I am a qualified language teacher, with ten years' experience teaching English and Spanish to adults and school children in a variety of settings. I gained my Trinity Cert-TESOL in 2012 and in 2021, I gained my PGCE from Newcastle University.

I would highly recommend working with Adam, he was always super kind, super knowledgeable, full of ideas and great resources to work with, and really took the time to get to know me and find out my learning style and needs.
Adam is a fantastic tutor, he adapts his lessons as needed, is friendly and extremely supportive.
With my autism it can be difficult to sit through lessons, however this isn't the case with Adam.
