About Dr Adnan

I am Dr. Adnan Levent, a psychologist with a strong background in research, data analysis, and teaching. In 2022, I proudly earned my PhD degree in Psychology from Birkbeck, University of London, building upon the foundation laid by my master's degree in Psychology from Kingston University, which I obtained in 2013. Currently, I work as a postdoctoral teaching associate at Royal Holloway, University of London, where I have the privilege of sharing my knowledge and expertise with students. My teaching responsibilities encompass undergraduate and postgraduate statistics courses, ranging from entry-level to doctoral level. I am passionate about equipping students with a comprehensive understanding of statistics, empowering them to apply these skills to their own research and academic pursuits. Over the course of my career, I have accumulated over 12 years of experience in conducting large-scale research projects and performing data analysis. Throughout this time, I have extensively utilised SPSS to manage and analyse complex datasets. My proficiency in data analysis techniques enables me to uncover meaningful insights from empirical data, contributing to the advancement of psychological research. In addition to my teaching and research responsibilities, I have the privilege of supervising students' dissertations, research methods training, statistics, and empirical projects. This role allows me to directly mentor and guide students through the research process, from conceptualisation to completion

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is based on the belief that all students can learn and succeed. I create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I also believe in the importance of differentiated instruction, so I tailor my lessons to the individual needs of each student. I provide comprehensive guidance on statistical analysis, including data cleaning, data processing, and data analysis with hands-on practical exercises to ensure a deep comprehension of statistical concepts. I also assist students in creating research reports, refining their academic writing abilities, and providing ongoing assistance throughout their research projects.
