About Kathy
I am a qualified teacher with over 30 years experience teaching German at both private and state schools, predominantly at a highly selective girls Grammar School. As well as private tutoring, I have also taught as an Associate Lecturer at University and examined German GCSE for a national Examination Board. Prior to my 30 years as a German teacher, I worked in international business for several years and I have a strong grasp of business German.

I adopt a personalised approach according to my students' needs. I can build students' confidence with grammar and written German as well as preparing them for the GCSE, A Level or IB examinations. I am very competent at preparing students for the oral examination and will focus on whatever aspect of German my student wants. For casual learners I prepare a tailor-made course.
