About Josie

I have been successfully tutoring English for over ten years whilst also working as a professional actor (on and off) for over 35 years. I initially succesfully tutored my daughter into a top private school and helped her get into Oxford to study PPE. I went on to help many other students reach their potential whether this be increasing their reading speed, improving their spelling or obtaining top grades at GCSE level. I have even run Shakespeare workshops at The Actors Centre.

About the lesson

I have over ten years experience working with a wide range of abilities supporting SEN and alternative provision students up to TSA coaching for Oxbridge entry. I am highly sensitive, patient and empathetic with a creative mind drawing on my drama and art background to stimulate the imagination of each student and increase confidence in both written and verbal communication skills.
