About Gareth
I am an award-winning former professional stage and screen actor, singer and dancer. I appeared on stages all over the world including South Africa, the UK, the USA and as far afield as Malaysia and Lebanon. I am also a teacher with over 27 years experience. I have a Bachelor of Art in Dramatic Art from Wits University, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education from UNISA and a Post-Graduate Certificate in the Advanced Teaching of Shakespeare from the University of Warwick.

I am a hands-on, fun-loving teacher, with a reputation of getting phenomenal performances from my students. A typical lesson would involve physical and vocal warm-ups, exposure to multiple styles, philosophies and approaches to acting, as well as practical work on character, motivation, monologues, film acting, theatre acting, musical theatre etc. My lessons are aimed at the beginner to the seasoned professional.
