About Patrick
I am an LL.B/BA (International Relations, Literature) graduate from Monash University, based in Melbourne. I graduated VCE in 2016 with a 90+ ATAR and have tutored in the areas of English and Literature since 2017. Growing up with three younger brothers has also given me a world-class skill in patience! I am also proficient in the disciplines of Criminology, International Relations, Ancient and Modern History, and Music Culture. My particular interests are textual analysis.

My teaching method is highly individual to each student, informed by their strengths, weaknesses, and specific goals for academic success. The services I offer represent the culmination of skills and experience across 8 years of award-winning essay writing. My dexterous expertise across junior and high-level approaches to English and Literature allows high-quality, relaxed, and clear teaching to students at all levels. I can provide ongoing support over a long period, a circuit-breaker-type lesson (as a one-off), or intermittent sessions, at the student's leisure. This approach and style are conducive to both younger students seeking to learn skills on how to read and analyze sentences in an appropriate manner, or higher-level students seeking advice on structuring essays, sentence structure, and other tips for high-quality writing at a tertiary or VCE level.

- Juan demonstrates a sound understanding of the themes raised by the articles in the relevant text. Patrick helped my son greatly in analysing Edgar Allan Poe. He was able to pull out very interesting and logical themes from the book and my son was feeling much more confident with the text after only one lesson.
Patrick is able to analyse topics broadly and intricately, with an ability to delve into detail and extrapolate key information from texts. I would recommend Patrick for students at all levels.
