About Ashley
Hello! My name is Ashley and I have been dancing since I was three years old. I started my dance career in ballet and I am currently learning a variety of dances filled with many types of techniques. These types of dances include jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, and most importantly K-pop.
I have found my love and passion for K-pop at a very young age when I was in elementary school, and ever since then, I self-taught many K-pop choreography from artists such as BTS, Blackpink, The Boyz, AOA, and much more. Although I am still a high school student (incoming junior), I wanted to not only spread my very own culture but also help others around me familiarize themselves with Korean Pop.
In my class, my goal is for you to not only improve and advance your skills in dance but to also enjoy and have fun while you're doing it! I know it may be quite intimidating especially if this is the first class you are taking, but I assure you that my dance classes will be a judge-free zone and I will provide a friendly atmosphere that welcomes everyone with all types of dance experience:)

Have you ever wanted to get out of your comfort zone and try something new? That was also my case as a dancer! Although I have been dancing at a very young age, I remember enjoying every part of my dance classes whether it was learning choreography or even being able to teach others around me.
For my classes, I don't expect you to have previous dance experience. My job here is to help you learn, grow, and most importantly have fun as a dancer, and to do this, I will be taking all students with experience and no previous experience to engage in K-pop dances.
For K-pop choreography, we will be covering groups such as BTS, Twice, Aespa, The Boyz, Blackpink, etc. If you would like to have a private class and request another artist with me as well, I will be more than happy to do so!
In my classes, we'll start off with a 10-15 minute warm up to stretch our bodies and be ready to learn some choreography. I will then proceed to teach and clean the choreography thoroughly. With that, I will also be giving honest feedback after the class is over so you are fully aware of your strengths and places that you should work on as we transition together to the next class and so on. I hope to see you in my class soon.

Details
All of my classes will be $18/h and in that hour, you can expect a workout, choreography tutorial, cleaning/going over the choreography thoroughly, and giving feedback to my dancer as well.
I will be taking offers if you would like to take a class out of Zoom because I totally understand the discomfort that it may cause with screens, angles, and different connection speeds. However, I will be charging a $6 fee if you would like to choose this option. If you would like to rent out a studio as well, rates will apply.
If you would like to apply for a longer class, I will be offering a package of 5 and 10 lessons. The 5 lessons package will cost $80 dollars and the 10 lesson package will cost $155.
In case of an emergency, I will be giving back 50% of the fees that you paid prior to the class.
For my students, I know that your first dance class may be nerve-wracking and intimidating at first especially when you're going to be on screen for the first time with an instructor that you barely know yet. I have decided to make my first lesson free for you so you can experience how a class would look like. Hope we can all share our different skills together and collaborate as dancers!
