About Kayden
Hi! I’m a dedicated high school student who enjoys helping others learn and feel more confident in school. I’m patient, organized, and willing to explain things in different ways depending on how someone learns best.
I can help with subjects such as English, history, writing, reading comprehension, and general study skills. My goal as a tutor is not just to give someone the answer, but to help them understand the material and develop skills they can use on their own.
I’m a friendly and supportive person, and I want tutoring to feel comfortable rather than stressful. Whether you need help understanding an assignment, preparing for a test, improving your writing, or staying organized, I’m happy to help!

My philosophy lessons focus on helping students develop critical thinking, logical reasoning, and the ability to understand different perspectives. Students will explore questions about morality, ethics, free will, knowledge, society, religion, and what it means to live a meaningful life. Lessons are discussion-based and encourage students to form their own opinions, support their ideas with reasoning, and respectfully challenge different viewpoints.
My philosophy lessons include engaging activities that encourage students to think critically and form their own ideas. Activities may include:
Ethical Dilemmas: Discuss real-world situations and decide what the most moral choice is.
Philosophical Debates: Defend an opinion while considering and responding to opposing viewpoints.
Thought Experiments: Explore questions such as “What makes you the same person over time?”
Socratic Discussions: Ask questions, challenge assumptions, and examine ideas through conversation.
Logic Challenges: Identify contradictions, assumptions, and weaknesses in arguments.
Philosopher Discussions: Explore the ideas of philosophers such as Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Nietzsche, and others.
Meaning of Life Questions: Discuss purpose, happiness, freedom, morality, and what makes a life meaningful.
The goal is to make philosophy interactive, thought-provoking, and accessible while helping students strengthen their reasoning and communication skills.
