Hi there! My name is Ellah, and I’m excited to be your tutor! I’m a high school student who’s passionate about helping others succeed and learn in a way that’s fun, engaging, and supportive. I believe that the skills we develop in life—whether on the track, in the classroom, or out in the surf—can teach us important lessons about perseverance, discipline, and confidence. Hi! My name is Ellah, and I'm a passionate high school student dedicated to helping young learners succeed. I specialize in tutoring students from kindergarten through 5th grade in the four core subjects: Math, Reading/Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. I believe that learning should be fun, engaging, and tailored to each student's individual needs, and I strive to make each lesson a positive experience that encourages curiosity and builds confidence.
As a high school student myself, I understand the challenges young learners face and how important it is to make learning feel accessible and fun. Here are a few things that set me apart:
Relatability: As a student, I can relate to the struggles kids face with schoolwork. I know how important it is to make learning interesting and keep kids motivated.
Patience & Empathy: I am patient and take the time to explain things in different ways if needed. I believe that every student learns at their own pace, and I work with them to ensure they feel comfortable and confident.
Engaging Lessons: I love making lessons fun I try to make students excited about learning.
Building Confidence: I focus on helping students feel proud of their progress. When kids see their hard work paying off, it encourages them to keep going and fosters a love of learning.
Who My Lessons Are For-
I tutor students in Kindergarten through 5th grade and focus on the core subjects that form the foundation for academic success:
Math (basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and foundational concepts)
Reading/Language Arts (comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and writing skills)
Science (basic concepts in life sciences, physical science, earth science, and introductory experiments)
Social Studies (fundamentals of history, geography, and cultures)
These lessons are designed for students who are looking for extra help in their core subjects, whether they are struggling with specific topics or just need a little more practice to keep up with their class.
