About Kayla
I am a high school student who has been in both the gifted and magnet program for as long as I can remember. I understand everyone’s frustration during this pandemic as well as our student’s lack of motivation, this is why when I am tutoring others I can also give advice as a friend! I have tutored a few students before in middle school, high school and one student during the summer so tutoring is not new to me.

My teaching methods are simple. I approach my student with small questions about their day and doing a mental health check, and continue on by asking the question “what do you need help with today?” in a friendly tone of voice. I’m very patient with my students and do whatever I must do to help with their work
