About Dina
I'm a compassionate, experienced tutor who is interested in becoming a surgeon, pilot, and boxer (I know- a lot of dreams, right?) I've had two years of official tutoring experience, but have helped my peers in many classes for years. I've taken numerous AP, IB, and Cambridge-level classes. My typical lesson plans are based on state/local curricula and my personal experiences (tips/tricks) on these topics. My students call me the most compassionate person they've ever met. A typical lesson plan for my students involves beginning the sessions with review questions from past sessions. If the student is struggling a bit, a couple more review problems will be done. I then start teaching curriculum, with me doing the first few problems and then asking the student to fill in the gaps. I then give students the opportunity to answer a couple of questions that I've made on the topic, and then problems from another source (whether it be worksheets, IXL,and more). I then end the session with the asking the student what they need more help on, and giving them a couple more questions on that. My lessons are mostly for those struggling in classes and wanting to advance in the material (do it ahead of time).
