About Andrew
I am a high school student, but more importantly a student of history. I excelled on the AP World History and US History tests, and expect to do the same on the AP American Government test. I go beyond the text book to connect historical events to their impacts in the 21st century.

My teaching methodology depends on the student, because all schools teach subjects slightly differently. Fortunately, AP classes are more uniform because they teach to a standardized test. I strike a balance between teaching to the test, and teaching the actual material. History and government classes are great because often more learning comes not by teaching in the traditional sense, but by having an intellectual conversation with students. People tend to find this very enjoyable!

Also known as Andy, Andrew is so incredibly knowledgeable in French, US History, and other worldly topics. He enjoys traveling to get a humbling sense of perspective and it's incredibly admirable how interested he is in the world around us.
He is constantly thinking of new ways to learn, teach, and understand. He continuously teaches me about American history and current events, to where I (a film major!) completely understand. He respects each person's opinion, therefore is committed to only sharing the facts, rather than ever forcing an opinion, which is very rare in any instructor.
He wants to share some of his overflowing excitement with you all, so as to expand your horizons and understanding of our incredible nation. There is no one I would rather depend on as a trustworthy source of information. His reliability and passion make for an excellent tutor and mentor.View more recommendations
