About Cass
I have found that the key to strong writing, often thought to be an inherent ability, is in fact confidence. I tend to be very professional, but never shy away from fun conversation. As a tutor, it is my responsibility to control the organization of each session, but it is the student who must set the tone and pace. I excel in leadership, but also collaboration, which is what tutoring sessions rely on. I have extensive experience with tutoring, and am the director of all operations for my school system's tutoring system, so I have tutored hundreds of students in the past few years.

I craft personalized lessons based on individual needs. Many tutors rely on their decades-old knowledge, but they fail to understand how society and language have since evolved. I have rigorously trained to become a tutor, already have years of experience behind me, and can deeply relate to students I work with which helps them engage and encourage them towards further success. I am currently enrolled in six English courses, have a position as a teaching assistant, founded a local school paper, publish and edit works in a local magazine, am an assistant Opinion editor in a local newspaper, and a contributing writer/head of internship staff at another. All of my experience, training, and true devotion to teaching make me an excellent choice for a tutor!
