About Marly
As a student previously, I recognize the importance of simplifying difficult concepts and completing practice work to improve cognitive skills. As a tutor, I never compromise on respect, calmness, and professionalism during sessions - an expectation that must be reciprocated for continuous improvements and the path to success. A bit about me: 1. I'm an architecture and business graduate, so I know a thing or two about math! 2. I have over 3 years of math tutoring experience from elementary all the way to Gr. 11. 3. My philosophy during sessions: Be patient with yourself and your tutor, and we'll keep trying different angles if you don't understand the concept.

Lesson Structure:
1. Start with a 10-15 minute review of the previous week's concepts, tests, and worksheets.
2. Gauge the student's understanding and difficulty level through questions and answers.
3. Thoroughly explain new concepts during the session, providing additional work/info sheets for deeper understanding.
4. Take frequent pauses to ensure the student comprehends the material. 5. Wrap up the lesson by providing a 'tips' sheet for further guidance (as needed).
6. Assign sample questions, worksheets, or a small comprehensive exercise to be completed alongside academic work for maximum performance.
