About Kit
I love students and mathematics and enjoy working with them to see the beauty of math. God has created mathematics to show His hand of perfection and I try to show that beauty in all branches of mathematics. It gives me joy to see students understand difficult concepts for the first time and to see them grow in their confidence with that understanding. Having worked with students in high school for the past 37 years has given me valuable experience needed to make good progress with students struggling with math.

My teaching method is to explain each problem individually that students have questions on, showing the method and the work so they fully comprehend the way to solve the problem.
My typical lesson plan is to ask questions of students until they understand how to solve the problem, giving me the right answer through continual questioning.
What sets me apart from anyone else as a tutor is my love for math and my ability to effectively show different methods of solving problems, making it an enjoyable experience to learn.
Classes that I specialize in are algebra 1, geometry, algebra 2, pre-calculus, trigonometry, and calculus. I am also able to work with junior high students.
