About Vaishnavi
I am a dedicated student with a strong passion for biology. I regularly help my sister with her biology coursework and successfully helped her raise her grade from a C to an A. She often tells me that I’m “really good at explaining things” and that my teaching helps reinforce key concepts effectively. In addition to my love for biology, I am a professional math tutor at a learning center, where I work with students aged 5-18. This experience has allowed me to develop strong teaching skills and adapt my approach to suit different learning styles. Growing up, I often struggled with teachers and tutors who didn’t accommodate my learning style. Because of this, I make it my priority to tailor my teaching methods to each student’s needs. I truly believe that learning can be fun and engaging when you find the right approach, and I’m excited to help students discover that for themselves!

My teaching method requires dedication and hard work. Since the hard part about biology is the application, there will be a lot (and I mean a LOT) of practice. I can tutor general biology but my knowledge and practice is based on AP Biology. As someone who initially also struggled with my biology classes no matter how hard I tried, I finally cracked the code to success in biology! I have mastered and perfectly curated a foolproof plan that will ensure anyone willing to put in the work will get a 4/5 on the AP exam!
