About Melanie
I'm a high school Biology and Anatomy & Physiology teacher who has always been drawn to the medical side of science. I love helping students understand how the body works, why it matters, and how science connects to real people and real stories. I also have a deep love for English—especially the honest, heartfelt side of writing where students discover their voice. Above all, I love teaching and watching students grow. And coffee. I’ve taught and tutored learners of all ages, from online English students to rising 9th graders preparing for high school. I also coach debate and run student clubs, so I’m always helping students communicate clearly, think deeply, and build confidence.
