About Ciara
I am a dedicated A-Level English student who has a genuine passion for literature and language. This has enabled me to help others to develop their skills by building a strong understanding of analysing texts, structuring essays and succeeding in exams.
Through my tutoring, I am patient, approachable and supportive in creating a comfortable learning environment for students. This allows students to feel confident enough to ask questions and improve their answers through key skills in English like comprehension, word level analysis and close text analysis.
I have a clear motivation to support younger students achieve their potential in English as I am very understanding of how challenging this subject can be. Through tutoring, my goal is to help students feel more capable with their answers in the exam which will improve their grades.

I take a supportive and structured approach to tutoring, focusing on building individual confidence alongside academic skills. My lessons are tailored to each student, using clear explanations, model answers, and guided practice to improve both understanding and exam technique. I often incorporate past paper questions and targeted feedback to help students progress quickly.
The lessons can last 60 - 90 minutes which allows time for teaching, practice, and reviewing the content to ensure that students understand the content. As an A-Level English student, I have a strong understanding of the content that aligns with all GCSE, SATs and KS3 content.
My lessons are most appropriate for students from the ages of 9-16 that want to improve their grades, strengthen their writing and comprehension skills and feel much more confident in English as a whole.
