About Sophie
As previously mentioned, I am a 17-year-old student with a passion to spread my knowledge of English to anyone in need. As I am still in school, I know what it feels like to not get the proper attention you need from a teacher. My personalized lessons will allow an easy and productive communication between you and me. Together, we can navigate your problems and figure out how to improve them. I am extremely excited to be entering the world of teaching. In my personal life I think of myself as an excellent communicator AND listener. I have the skills to understand your needs and create a plan to help you thrive in the English language. It is a lovely feeling to be able to hold your own when talking to people, and understand "fancy" wording with ease. Having a good level of English can aid in many areas of your life: finding a job, expressing yourself, reading books and watching shows/movies and much more. I want you to be your best, well-spoken self.

New tutor who cares deeply about her students. Will be organized, understanding and will not let you down! We will focus on bringing up your level of English. Techniques: I will assess your level and assign you online books to match at no cost. You can express your learning desires and I will create a program to aid in improving these areas. I will ensure to be kind and understanding throughout as being a student myself I understand the stress of an angry teacher! As mentioned, if there are any personal goals you have we will work on those of course. However, I will ask you to do some short assignments for me to discover the areas that need help. Basic learning will also occur, but this depends on what needs work. The typical length of a lesson can range from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on which is most convenient for the client. I want to ensure that the times are flexible for a client. As mentioned, I am a new tutor. Despite this, I would argue that I have more passion for teaching than most, as those in it for too long can grow bored of it. I am a winner of a national writing competition and have averaged good scores in school, receiving a distinction in the JC. My friends often look in my direction for help with their work and essays etc. I have been told that I am skilled in explaining English rules and principles in a clear and simplified manner. The lessons are for anyone and everyone who believes I would be a good fit. I am 17 going on 18 and am mature for my age. Does your child need help with their English? I would be the perfect fit, it would feel like a friend hangout instead of a tutoring lesson. Does your child ask you questions about their homework that you struggle to answer? Has their teacher said their level of reading is not up to standard? If so, look my way. Do you feel that everyone in your job has a higher grasp of English than you?
